New Restaurants Coming to Cincinnati in 2026

Cincinnati food lovers, things are heating up this spring! From national chains to local favorites making a comeback, there’s plenty to get excited about. If you’re exploring neighborhoods or just love checking out new eats, here’s what’s opening and why it matters.

Shake Shack – Kenwood

Cincinnati’s fourth Shake Shack opens February 26th in Kenwood. Burgers, fries, and shakes — enough said. This location joins a growing list of fast-casual favorites that keep popping up around the city.

CAVA – Oakley & Kenwood

Coming this spring, CAVA is opening at Oakley Station and Kenwood. It’s the Chipotle-style build-your-own concept, but Mediterranean — fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a quick lunch or casual dinner.

Strong’s Brick Oven Pizzeria – Newport

After an eight-month closure, Strong’s is reopening at 708 Monmouth next month. More space, better parking, and live music make it a perfect spot for pizzas with friends — and it’s great to have this local favorite back in Newport.

Cafe Patachou – The District at Deerfield

Indianapolis-based Cafe Patachou is opening its first Ohio location this spring. Elevated breakfast and lunch without the drive to Indy? Yes, please. Deerfield is quietly turning into a foodie destination.

The Eagle x City Bird & Pepp & Dolores – The District at Deerfield

Deerfield is stacking its tenants fast. Fried chicken from The Eagle x City Bird joins award-winning pasta from Pepp & Dolores, giving locals plenty of reasons to make a trip out there.

Varsity Sports – Montgomery

Varsity Sports is opening in downtown Montgomery this spring in the former Napa Kitchen space. Food, drinks, and live music make it a new hub for game nights or a casual night out with friends.

Suzu – Madisonville

All eyes are on Madisonville as Chef Makoto Okuwa opens Suzu at Madison Square. The 6,000-square-foot space will seat 200 guests, plus there’s a 12-seat Edo-style omakase counter called Suzunone.

Okuwa trained under Masaharu Morimoto and has opened restaurants internationally. Suzu joins a growing lineup at Madison Square alongside Alara, Element Eatery, and Zingaro.
